Things were a little rough this morning when she realized we weren’t having cake for breakfast. I fixed that by twirling with her in the kitchen for almost an hour to Dancing Queen while brother ate breakfast. When got ready and headed to the Zilker Botanical Gardens to see the fairy houses.

We came back to the house for cake. At some point in the day, Jo decided that she wanted to have chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream instead of the strawberry cake she had previously asked for. Luckily, Gramma and Bucka were on their way to the house and were able to stop and get some for us. They also brought over and put together a sand and water table for Jo’s birthday present! SHE LOVED IT! Aunties Abbie and Christy were there, all cousins, and Gramma and Bucka celebrated with us for the afternoon.

 

JACK APPROVES

EVERYONE approved of the sand and water table… which I decided me be a sand OR water table in the future. 🙂

We gave her our birthday gift which was a children’s digital camera. Also a hit!

And finally we finished with her very favorite mea, pesto pasta, a very thorough bath, and (fingers crossed) the best night of sleep of our lives. What a wonderful day!!
